Happy Halloween 2012!

Happy Halloween Eve!

My girls can't wait to go trick or treating tomorrow afternoon. Everything is ready, including our treat bags...

I have to add that this is just a small selection of the treat bags I've made. There is another large container full of treat bags that I didn't photograph!

Supplies used:

Cello bags, Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set, ribbon and string, various colours of SU cardstock, Large Scallop Circle Punch, various circle punches, googly eyes and adhesive rhinestones.

They were so much fun to make. My girls loved filling the bags for me. Actually, I think they liked eating some of the lollies as they filled the bags. :)

Well, that's all from me. Happy "trick or treating" tomorrow!

Baby Shower

Life has been so busy lately that this card I'm going to show you today, was finished just about as I was running out the door to a Baby Shower, so you'll have to excuse the terribly rushed photos:

The fact that I'd placed the card into a cellophane bag before photographing it, didn't help my cause. I've been using cellophane bags instead of bags more and more lately. I think it really showcases the cards.

Now for the supply details:

Very Vanilla and Bashful Blue cardstock, So Saffron DSP, black StazOn ink, watercolour paper, Bundle of Love stamp set, silver brads, pewter charm, Very Vanilla retired ribbon, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Blush Blossom, Basic and Grey ink pads, and watercolour pen.

That's it!

Back tomorrow with my Halloween treats. Catch you then. :)

Happy 60th Birthday!

Hi everyone!

One of my hubby's work colleagues is celebrating his 60th birthday today and this is the card I made for him, using the Blue Ribbon stamp set for the first time.

I really enjoyed making this card. It was so quick!

Supplies used were Crumb Cake, Night of Navy and Cherry Cobler cardstock, Versa Mark, Night of Navy and Cherry Cobler ink, Happiest Birthday Wishes, Extreme Elements and Blue Ribbon stamp sets, Extra Large Scallop Circle punch, 1 and 3/8" Circle Punch and Alphabet Dies for the numbers.

Simple really!

Catch you all soon.

Girly Cards

Gosh, school holidays sure can be a busy time! I always look forward to them, thinking that it will be a relaxing time, but they usually end up being busier than ever, trying to keep the girls entertained. It feels like we haven't stopped, but they've had loads of fun, and the holidays are almost over. :(

So it goes without saying that there has hardly been any time for crafting. I had to really squeeze these cards in just so we could make it to the two parties for which they were intended. Here they are...

I love this image. She's not too cutesy and not too grown up. I've made her a little sparkly and gave her a little flower hair clip curtesy of one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. She was coloured with ink pads and a watercolour pen. Cardstock colours are So Saffron and Whisper White. The paper is from the Soft Subtles pad. The sentiment if from Happiest Birthday Wishes.

This image is super cute. I just love her. I can't believe I've owned her for so long and have only used her now! She was also coloured as above and wears the same 'hair clip." The letters were cut using the Simple Letters Alphabet Dies. Cardstock colours are Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue. Normally, it would be my "thing" to add some Crystal Effects to her glasses and camera lens but it just wouldn't have dried in time by the time we had to leave for the party. :(

Well, that's all. Better go start getting us all ready. Enjoy this glorious Spring weather.

Take care.
Andrea :)
